I visualize the scene in my head like a movie before putting it on paper. When actors prepare for a role they ask "what if?" (what if I was this character in this setting). Writers can use the same technique.Sally Carpenterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00068827626295000653noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8349236360110556646.post-50712716498480946502012-08-30T13:28:48.931-04:002012-08-30T13:28:48.931-04:00I think I already do Method Writing without knowin...I think I already do Method Writing without knowing the name for it! However, I have used it for both hero and heroine plus some secondary characters in my romances. I have to admit, though, it's much easier to slip into the skin of one of the female characters than one of the male characters!Lois Winstonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01866423986250423199noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8349236360110556646.post-37269330030181760322012-08-30T09:33:54.208-04:002012-08-30T09:33:54.208-04:00I really like the concept of "method" wr...I really like the concept of "method" writing. I really loved her, Lois. I picked her up because of your chick-lit and romance/suspense and guess I'll have to bite the bullet and read an ebook to read your chick lit. I like suspense with strong female characters and a barrel of laughs, and if they get their man in more than one ways (or more than one man), all the better!Diane Schultzhttp://www.luvs2zumba.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8349236360110556646.post-89023607874452781892012-08-29T16:22:59.997-04:002012-08-29T16:22:59.997-04:00Thanks, Kathleen! Thanks, Kathleen!Lois Winstonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01866423986250423199noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8349236360110556646.post-1404873145483863352012-08-29T16:08:59.119-04:002012-08-29T16:08:59.119-04:00Wow, Lois!
