She wants to make her own way in life, wants to be loved and admired for who she is, but isn't sure she's made that "cut" yet -- not at work and not in her personal life.

In other words, she's still striving, still seeking to find her authentic self. :) Better?

@Lisa Appreciate the hospitality!

@Gena One day... But knowing me, I'll always have five things going at once--I don't think my brain can operate any other way!

My husband compares me to a cat -- one minute stretched out on the couch, appearing relaxed and sedate, the next minute *zing* the cat is up and shooting out of the room! hehe He does have a point...Dianne Venettahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06924863315914593157noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8349236360110556646.post-44435248865546177602012-02-07T12:39:25.273-05:002012-02-07T12:39:25.273-05:00Another great interview, Dianne! The hubs works rotating shifts, so he pretty much takes care of himself since it's hard to know when he'll be eating at home. I'm lovin' life right now!

Can't wait to read Lust on the Rocks!

Gena Robertson
robertsongena@hotmail.comGena Robertsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13637558465465103813noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8349236360110556646.post-23220517490661101662012-02-07T09:35:32.796-05:002012-02-07T09:35:32.796-05:00Quite a fun interview! :)Quite a fun interview! :)Lisa Haseltonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10343869216082449827noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8349236360110556646.post-34441688850789920512012-02-07T09:31:11.384-05:002012-02-07T09:31:11.384-05:00Enjoyed your post today but I live in a world wher...Enjoyed your post today but I live in a world where everyday is Sunday so there's no pressure to multi-task! That's called retirement and I love every minute of it.

I'm interested in the heroine in the third book of this series. Sounds like she is walking on eggshells while bricks fall on her head. You say she is fraught with indecision and insecurity. Those are the characteristics often found in a TSTL heroine. What other characteristics have you given her to save here from the TSTL pit?Karen Hhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13732638672537005826noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8349236360110556646.post-57527329182907448562012-02-07T08:38:06.324-05:002012-02-07T08:38:06.324-05:00@marybelle Laughing is good for the soul!
